WOW.. Im behind.

This is going to just be a quick update because I could blog all night about things that have been happening because Im so behind. So I will just do a quick update. (:

Aidan is in Kindergarten and LOVING it. He is doing really really good. He is so excited to wake up every morning and ride the bus and go to school. Hes grown up so fast over the past couple months. He really is become quite an awesome young man. He just got an award on Monday from the principal because he knows his numbers so well! He is really trying hard to learn how to read. Hes getting there. Tomorrow will be his second day in Hip hop and Break dance class. Its so much fun to watch them try to learn and apply the energy he has into something productive. Right now he is learning how to do the worm.. Which he is thrilled about because his idol Uncle Jere can do the worm.

Aidan had heart surgery on Valentines day this year. It was a really scary ordeal and very sudden. But truly is doing AMAZING! He does not get sick nearly as often, he is more calm and he can focus. Go figure his heart rate is not about 280... The funniest thing I noticed was the first day he went back to preschool after having heart surgery.. he could color in the lines perfectly! He would try hard but just was going 100 miles an hour. Now he can slow down and actually apply himself to things. (: Oh I love my little man.

Im doing pretty well. Im still working at Sorenson Communications for the time being... I am no longer working on the Medical Transcription thing.. I just couldn't afford to continue with it for now. Ive really been considering going back to college. I just really have NO idea what I want to do.. Or what I want to study or anything. Ive been on a journey with random friends lately. Ive found that the couple I have are amazing and they are way worth the ones Ive lost. They make me want to be me be a better person. Im still single blah.. lol I just am waiting for the right guy to come along.. Im trying very hard to be patient.. but until then we are doing just fine without him :D

So a couple months ago.. Okay Okay its been longer than that. But! none the less I won an awesome prize. A free photo session with the one and only Angie Muir. She did such a great job. We had such a wonderful time. We definatly will be going back to her in the future. Here are some of my favorites

Its about stinkin time...

Okay here you go Lac.. Its going to be short though..
Since I have not updated in MONTHS!! Sorry.. I am going to do a top ten list of the happenings in our family!

1. Aidan turned 4!! ( A later post with pics will be coming soon... I know i know your all thinking yeah right..BUT I promise cuz i want to show off the awesome cake i made.. hehe)
2. Aidan is playing Tee ball again... and doing a lot better this year! (Once again this one will get its own post)
3. Uncle Jere and Aunt Lacey moved to Price.. Yay! Yes I know Ferron really is not that far away... But now we can run by when we are in Price and it makes Aidans whole day!
4. I am working 2 jobs.. Who really wants to do this? No one.. But I have to say I did get lucky I love my second job. I am a hostess at Anthony Js a new steak house in town. The only down side is I work really long hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays.. I work from 7am to 11pm. I keep my sanity by knowing that Aidan is with someone who loves him and who we both trust (Thanks mom and dad)
5. SUMMER IS HERE!! yay
6. I am training for a 5k... Yikes. (ps right now i really should be out running) Oh well
7. I feel head over heals in love with a pretty amazing man... But as we all know unfortunately along with the good comes the bad.. and he had some anger issues that I was not willing to settle with.. It really was hard to walk away from one of the things I love the most... But I know that is what had to be done for Me and Aidan. So I did it..
8. Aidan had ALMOST mastered his bike with no training wheels.. After breaking 3 sets of training wheels I decided he is ready to learn without them.
9.We got the cutest family pictures done this year.. Thanks Angie Muir..:) (For sure this one will get its own post)
10. I am counting down the days until I go sky diving!! (August) :D:D

That was kinda our life in a nut shell.. It has been a crazy couple months.. But very worth all the stress.. I love seeing Aidan smile. Not matter why he is it warms my heart to know that I am doing something right by raising a happy kid!

Quick Chirstmas update..

So this Christmas Season was awsome. We started it out by going to the light parade both nights.. (my pictures start from the bottom and go to the top lol sorry) I work with a sweet girl my age and she has a son Aidans age his name is Dallas him and Aidan get along so well.. I am excited for both of them I think its the begining of a wonderful friendship.. Then we got to go see Santa two time Aidan had never really been scared of Santa I thinks its cuz he knows that man delivers ;) He told him the first time that he wanted a Race Track and the second time that he wanted a Camera and well he ended up getting both. We had such a wonderful christmas on christmas eve we went down the our Aunt Peggys and played with the family he got to help Derrick make a gingerbread house. He idolizes that kid. Christmas morning I actually had to wake him up about 9 Grandma and Pops were so excited they couldnt wait anymore... lol

In the end he ended up getting everything he wanted and more.. He loves his little camera however now I always have to be on guard with hair done and makeup on cuz he always is snapping away with that thing. I also was pretty lucky this Christmas.. I got a book I have been wanting and it fits perfect in my collection I also got an amazing picture my mom painted for me (I am thinking I am going to dedicate its own post to it) then i got clothes perfume and a darling darling bracelet what can I say Lacie has pretty good taste (: Sorry it took so long but there it is.

Thanksgiving

Well I dont have any pictures because I am currently having tech issues..
lol
But as Thanksgiving has come and gone I realized what a lucky girl I really am so I just decided to make a list of a couple things I am thankful for..
1. My amazing family..Without them i dont know where I would be. They are my strength when I feel weak and my light when I am lost in the dark. I have such understanding parents and a pretty awesome brother (most of the time) ;) haha I have countless aunts, uncles and cousins who have all played a very important part in my life..My wonderful grandma who is so loving and always so sweet to Aidan even when he is being a brat.
2. Aidan..I dont even know where to start with him.. He is pretty much the reason I get up in the morning. he always makes me laugh and makes me so happy. He can be a stinker as most of you reading this knows but he also can be the sweetest little boy..I really was very blessed when he was sent into my life
3. My friends.. I have had my fair share of ups and downs lately with my "friends" but, I think for the most part I finally found the ones and matter and the ones who never really did. And even though I dont talk to some of the ones who matter as much as I would like that doesnt mean I dont think about them everyday.. <3
4. So I went and seen blindside last week and WOW can I just say top three movies of all time I think. It made me realize I really have so much in my life and not just material things such as clothes.. and washer and dryer so those clothes can be clean and fresh.. I have so many other things that people never get. I have *as noted above* friends and family who love me and would go looking if i ever decided to up and leave. I have faith in my heavenly father who I know will make my life what it is meant to be if i am willing to do the work. By now I am sure your thinking she already talked about most of these things.. But what my number 4 is actually about is.. don don don.. I am thankful that I have the knowledge to relize these things and not take them for granted.
5. My religion. Plain and simple I am greatful for my faith.. I am working on my testimony and I have a couple really good friends who are helping me get back on the right track simply by their faith and testimony. I know it is true and its what I need to do with my life and for my sons life. :D
6. Now just for some cheesy ones..
I love all the complaining we hear about the government because that means we still have freedom of speech.
I love the fact that I get bills in the mail because that means that I can read and have extras in life that I am blessed with even if that means I have to pay for them.
I love the fact that I have TV because that means I can watch Gilmore girls. lol
I love when I have to wake up and decide which clothes to wear and what way to fix my hair.. because that means I have more clothes than I need and that I have my own hair which I get to fix everymorning.
I love that I can go to work every morning because that means I have a job, and insurance and an income which so many people in the world do not have.
I love that I can hear because that means I get to hear Aidans giggle.
I am thankful that I can type because that means I get to let all of you into my life and I get to see everyday glimpses of yours.

Haloween!!

Halloween was so much fun this year.. Aidan acutally understood what it was all about except he called it candy treatin.. lol instead of trick or treating.. haha but easy mistake I think.

He wanted to be a spider with a web. Call me crazy but I do not like to buy premade costumes so I decided to make him his costume this year which I think ended up pretty cute.

We went to Grandma Shawnas on friday night and to some family's houses in Cleveland. Then Saturday we went to the downtown alive in Price Aidan slept in and we missed his ages costume contest.. (or else I am pretty sure we would have won ;) ) then we went to a ward halloween party which was so much fun they had games and candy and a jackolanter contest which Aidans won most creative. :) it was a lot of fun. We had a wonderful Halloween..
