My son

Sometimes I think I could sale him to Zoo and never question it, at least for a couple days ;) but then he goes and does something so amazing and I think WOW the Lord has trusted me with this amazing spirit.
Well yesterday was Aidans first day of day care officially. The whole way there we were talking about how much fun he was going to have and how he was going to love it and how he will make friends and follow the rules.. I think the talk was reasurring mom as much as it was Aidan. So we get to the day care and we walk in and he gives Miss Debbie and says in his little voice "Miss Debbie I am going to follow all your rules" then he turns around and gives me a hug and a kiss and says "Bye Mommy I love you have a good day at work.."
K it is not like I was hoping for tears by any means but I did think he was going to be a little sad... It amazed me that he was such a big boy I was so proud of him.
Well when I went to pick him up... Miss Debbie told me he is a crazy kid (which I already knew) but that he follows rules very well and that he even laid down and took his rest for an hour! I was very impressed.
So last night we were praying this was our conversation...
Mommy: Aidan do you want to tell Heavenly Father how much fun you had at daycare?
Aidan: You mean I can talk to him??
Mommy; Of course you can, we can talk to Heavenly Father any time we want or need to.
Aidan: Okay * begins to pray telling all about his day at daycare* Mommy I cant hear him.
Mommy: Oh babe we cant hear him but we know he can hear us and is listening because we feel it in our hearts.
Aidan: Oh so we cant call him on the phone?
Mommy: *laughs* no baby we dont have to use a phone we can just talk or even think and he listens.
Aidan: Oh okay..*continues to pray*
*Pauses*

Aidan: MOMMY I CAN FEEL IT IN MY HEART!!!!

It made me realize what an amazing gift I have been asked to take care of...
He definatly is the biggest blessing I have ever received he teaches me so much more than I have been able to teach him yet. Being a mom is defintaly the most rewarding job I have ever had. We might not be the typical family but we are definatly not lacking on Love..

That is so cute...Children are the greatest gifts, and even when it is hard to be a mom it is also so rewarding. You have a very cute little boy.
