Thanksgiving
Well I dont have any pictures because I am currently having tech issues..
lol
But as Thanksgiving has come and gone I realized what a lucky girl I really am so I just decided to make a list of a couple things I am thankful for..
1. My amazing family..Without them i dont know where I would be. They are my strength when I feel weak and my light when I am lost in the dark. I have such understanding parents and a pretty awesome brother (most of the time) ;) haha I have countless aunts, uncles and cousins who have all played a very important part in my life..My wonderful grandma who is so loving and always so sweet to Aidan even when he is being a brat.
2. Aidan..I dont even know where to start with him.. He is pretty much the reason I get up in the morning. he always makes me laugh and makes me so happy. He can be a stinker as most of you reading this knows but he also can be the sweetest little boy..I really was very blessed when he was sent into my life
3. My friends.. I have had my fair share of ups and downs lately with my "friends" but, I think for the most part I finally found the ones and matter and the ones who never really did. And even though I dont talk to some of the ones who matter as much as I would like that doesnt mean I dont think about them everyday.. <3
4. So I went and seen blindside last week and WOW can I just say top three movies of all time I think. It made me realize I really have so much in my life and not just material things such as clothes.. and washer and dryer so those clothes can be clean and fresh.. I have so many other things that people never get. I have *as noted above* friends and family who love me and would go looking if i ever decided to up and leave. I have faith in my heavenly father who I know will make my life what it is meant to be if i am willing to do the work. By now I am sure your thinking she already talked about most of these things.. But what my number 4 is actually about is.. don don don.. I am thankful that I have the knowledge to relize these things and not take them for granted.
5. My religion. Plain and simple I am greatful for my faith.. I am working on my testimony and I have a couple really good friends who are helping me get back on the right track simply by their faith and testimony. I know it is true and its what I need to do with my life and for my sons life. :D
6. Now just for some cheesy ones..
I love all the complaining we hear about the government because that means we still have freedom of speech.
I love the fact that I get bills in the mail because that means that I can read and have extras in life that I am blessed with even if that means I have to pay for them.
I love the fact that I have TV because that means I can watch Gilmore girls. lol
I love when I have to wake up and decide which clothes to wear and what way to fix my hair.. because that means I have more clothes than I need and that I have my own hair which I get to fix everymorning.
I love that I can go to work every morning because that means I have a job, and insurance and an income which so many people in the world do not have.
I love that I can hear because that means I get to hear Aidans giggle.
I am thankful that I can type because that means I get to let all of you into my life and I get to see everyday glimpses of yours.
:D
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season..
Off to work on putting up my christmas decorations.

She brings home the bacon and cooks it too..
Okay I know I am such a slacker when it comes to updating my blog.. but its summer come on. So many things have happened Tee Ball is over. Aidan really did good for only being three and it helped so much with his attention span... He still is only 3 haha so its pretty short but I can really tell a difference.
We have had some very fun weekends.. We went to Colorado in June to our darling baby cousin baby Grants blessing. His family is so special to us and he was a great addition. It was so exciting to see him and the family. Aidan had a blast with his cousin Jordan...He just idolizes that kid.. No matter what they are doing from swimming in the pool to running around the house they have a blast...
Aidan is getting to be so funny.. We were sitting in church for the blessing and right after it he started to be really nosiy and throw a fit so I picked him and to carry him out... and of course we were sitting close to the front to see the blessing.. and as I carried him our the door kicking and screaming he yelled as loud as he could " Where are you taking me?! Where are you taking me?!" and some how through the fit throwing I could hear the entire congregation chuckeling as I shut the door..
We also were able to go through the open house of the Oquirrh Mountian Temple. It was so amazing and very very beautiful... Aidan was such a good kid while we were going through it. It was the most amazing feeling I felt as I walked through those rooms.. It made me realize how badly I wanted to live the way I should so I can get there and receive the blessings that comes along with it.
We went to the Cleveland Days celebration and the Huntington 4th of July Celebration... both were so much fun the rides, races, yummy food, long lost friends...and the amazing fireworks. For such a small town Cleveland has the most amazing fireworks I have ever seen.
I decided to get adventurous and go camping with Aidan.. we did.. all the way in Grandma Shawnas back yard.. We did we had a blast he loved every minute of it. We read stories, had a campfire, roasted hot dogs and smores (with Peanut butter) and of course roasted Starburts..:D
We have had an awesome summer.
The last couple weekends we have also spent at fairs International days was last weekend, and the Carbon and Emery County fairs were this weekend.. Kids day at the park was so much fun, Aidan loved riding the train.. I promise pictures are to come... We really had a lot of fun. I never realized how special summer is..
I got to go to Lagoon with a friend. It was nice to just be a 22 year old girl again and kinda forget about the stresses of "life".
I have been acutally kinda depressed lately.. I just feel like life is passing me by.. I know exactly what I want in life and I know how to get there ( I think) It just seems like no matter what I do I can not seem to make it happen.. At the fair this weekend in a singing competition one of the girls sing a song about a single mom ( amazing song) Just saying how this mom works from the time she wakes up until the minute her head hits the pillow, and she works so hard to give her kids the things most take for granted, how she brings home the bacon and cooks it too. In the middle of the song she asked if there are any single moms in the audience.. and without even realizing until those with me started patting me on the back I had tears streaming down my face...
I guess it is just easier to act tough rather than let people know your weaknesses.. and I have become used to preteneding to be tough that I started to fool myself.. I am really just tired of waiting for something I have wished for as long as I can remember... it is beinging to feel hopeless. I am trying to put my trust in the Lord.. but I have been struggling lately.. Well this is way to long of a post... So hopefully I will do it sooner next time so I dont have so much to update you with.
And i promise promise promise pictures are to come.

Fathers Day
So I have been sitting here trying to think of something to blog about for Fathers Day...
and I can not think of anything appropriate to write... Its not because I can not think of any stories about my Dad because I have stories upon stories I could talk about.. Like from remembering him playing softball with me every summer to learning so many random facts about any place we would ever visit. To thinking that I have the most amazing understanding dad in the whole world. From seeing the love in his eyes every time he holds or plays with Aidan to feeling safe and protected from the whole world when he hugs me..
There are those times that I think back on wonder if I would it have made through them without my dad.. Like sitting on the end of my bed crying because the boy I like does not even know I exist and him coming in and putting his arm around me and making me see that any guy would be lucky for me to like him, then there were those times when my heart really was broken and I didnt want to go on... he made me realize that I have so many people in my life who love me with him on the very top of the list. and sitting home in bed when I broke my back, when I was on bed rest when pregnant with Aidan he definitley kept me entertained. No matter what he had to do.
One of my dads most amazing qualities is that he can make anyone feel comfortable no matter what the situation is. He was the most amazing dispatcher for that reason. When he took a different position the state lost their best dispatcher they have had and will ever have. He just has one of those voices that make you feel like everything is going to be okay even when you can see the walls falling down around you.
The reason I am struggling with writing something is because every time I start to think about him I begin to cry. I really have been blessed with an amazing father.. He understand so many things I go through. He listens when I need to talk, and he can always make me laugh when I need to smile. He also can say Trista I think you are being ridiculous, and then wether or not I take his advice, he still is there standing beside me saying "I love you, we will make it through this."
Thinking about my dad makes me look towards the future. He has in him so many qualities that I want my future husband to have.. Number one unconditional love for his family... everyone knows me and my brother have given him some stress and I have never one day of my life doubted that he loves me... Number two.. He is the hardest worker I have ever known.. He is the first one up and gone in the morning and the last one to come home at night. He doesnt take a day off unless he has no other choice. Number three like I mentioned above when he hugs me I feel so safe like nothing can happen to me.. Number four.. he is by far the funniest guy I know...Anyone who knows him knows this is true... These are just a few but I do know that the future man of my life has some pretty big shoes to fill..
I guess the number one reason I am not sure what to say about my dad is because there is no word defined yet to describe him other than Amazing and no word yet to say the way I feel other than Love and neither of those words seem to do him or my feelings for him justice.
I love you dad. Thank you.

Tee Ball!
In Helper they can play when they are three so of course I signed him up this summer. Luckily we got an awesome coach, who is so patient and so great with all of the kids. Aidan does not quite have the concept down that we have to play in the field and hit the ball. He just likes the hitting part, so it is kind of a challenge to keep him on the feild when they are out there. But he did a lot better at his second game, so we have hope for the future. He actually hit the ball pretty far in his last game. My favorite part is every time he does something he is proud of he runs over and gives me a huge "Proud" hug. lol
He has made a littel friend as you can tell from the pictures below.. He does everything this little boy does, it is pretty cute.

Its been a year!!
It has been about a year since I dived into this whole Blog world.. I have learned quite a few things and I am sure there are still so many things out there that I do not even have a clue they exist..
As I am sitting here in my dead silent house which does not happen very often I can probably count the time it has since I started blogging on my fingers.. haha Okay so maybe it is not that bad but still I find myself just sitting and thinking any time the house is quiet. Even though I know there is a million other things i could be doing; cleaning, homework, scrapbooking, working on my flowers, working on a million other projects I have started, reading the scriptures, exercising, sleeping BLOGING. Thats right here I am convincing myself I am doing something productive.. :D
You all care right you want to know I know you do!
Well I decided to make a list of things that have changed so much over the last year....
Aidan!
He has came so far even in the last 5 months! He really is turing into such a sweet little man. His new thing is he tries burping so he can say excuse me because he knows it is good manners to say excuse me and he feels so proud when he says it...so he says it as much as he can! haha
He has also started daycare. He loves it so much. Of course it took some time for him to get used to it and get used to the different rules and being around kids all day definatly was a challenge for him. But now he loves it! I am so happy to drop him off and see his little face light up. He is also learning so much there...Oh and he got to sign up for Tball this week! I can not believe my little man is going to be playing tball this summer! Babe Ruth better watch out!
Also in the last year I have got him potty trained FINALLY he sleeps in his own bed every night and the most important one i think is that he can spot a picture of heavenly father from across the room. :D
My goals!
I started this year thinking I still wanted to be an Teacher well plans have changed a couple times. I am now going to school to be a Medical Transcriptionist... AKA stay at home mom. That is the part I am most excited for is I will get to work from home!! I am hoping to be done in August, and start working from home shortly after.
I still am at the same job i had barely started when I started my job. I really enjoy what I do. It is like every other job and has its goods and bads but all in all it is pretty great.. I have had promotions over the year stepped down from promotions (huge relief!) thought about applying for other positions decided not to.. (huge relief)
Now I am acutally in the process of looking for a part time job i can work at evenings and weekends after I get off at Sorensons, just so I can get caught up and possibly a little ahead is that possible in this day and age..?
Me!
I have grown up so much in the last year! I have realized what I want and dont want in a boyfriend.. Mostly trial and error.. Booo haha I have realized that it is so important to take things slow and if that guy is right for you he will respect that... I have realized what is important in life.. My family which is the main reason I decided to go into what profession I did other than the fact that I think I will love it.
I have realized how lucky I am to have the parents brother and sister in law and grandmother that I do. I have been shown nothing but so much love from each of these people listed in thier own way of course but none the less.. Amazing acts of love have been poured out to me.
I have realized that great friends do not always mean they are true friends. Unfortunatly I have gone through some amazing girl friends this year we have had our ups and downs but the true test is who will call the next day or answer when you call to say your sorry.. I have been betrayed by someone who I considered my very best friend who I have done so much for time and time again. But in the process she helped me realize that maybe I do have more value than I see and for that reason alone I could never say our friendship was a waste...
Okay well tha is probably enough rambling on for one night..
I with close with this thought about the last year
I have learned so many things lately and I have to put them into words.. I have learned that there is a subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul. I've learned that love doesn’t mean leaning and company doesn’t always mean security. I have learned that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises. I’ve started to accept my defeats with my head up and my eyes ahead. I have built my roads on today because tomorrow's grounds are too uncertain for plans, and futures have a way of falling down in mid flight. I have learned that sunshine burns if you get too much. I planted my own garden and decorated my own life instead of waiting for someone else coming to bring me flowers. I have become stronger and realized that I really can endure. I am strong. I have learned that I have worth. I have learned with every goodbye and look forward to my hellos.
